Theses photos are taken of actual results achieved by our patients. Most people come to our office with a complaint of pain in some region. Most of the time that pain is a the result of years of uncorrected spinal misalignment, what we term a "Subluxation". Think of a Subluxation as a spinal cavity. If left untreated for too long it will cause damage to your spine and the supporting ligaments, and muscles and eventually your nerves. The spine does have a defined normal position as well as the a normal posture that it should maintain. Any movement away from that norm equates to a Subluxation. In the pics that you see the first film is the pre-correction Subluxated view and the second is the corrected view. Red lines are where the spine should be and the black lines show where the patients started.
Neck Case #2
This is a teenage patient who came with horrible migraine headaches. The first film is her pre-correction Subluxated view of her neck from the side. The second film is the post correction neck view. All headaches have disappeared and this patient now does maintenance.
Neck Case #3
Male patient coming to us with complaint of neck pain.X-ray #1 shows a 100% loss of curve in his neck. After 5 months of care X-ray #2 shows the results of all his hard work in corrective care. Now all we have to do is maintain this spine for the rest of his life and prevent his initial subluxation from returning and prevent any new subluxations.
Low Back Case #1
16 year old male with poor posture and lower back pain. This patient was under corrective care for 8 months and was a tough case. X-ray #1 is of the lower back from the side. This specific view shows that the black line is 2 inches behind the red line. This is like adding 200 pounds to your body, hence lower back pain.X-ray #2 shows the culmination ofa lot of hard work.As you can see the red line and black line are now almost perfect. Now with correct posture and life-time maintenance he should be able to maintain this spine for life.
Low Back Case #2
16 year old male patient with terrible posture, and severe lower back pain.X-ray #1 shows the extent of his lower back subluxation at the beginning of care.As you can see his black line is 2-1/2 inches behind the normal red line. This subluxation was placing over 200 times the normal amount of stress into his lower back, at 16 he already had severe degeneration of his L5 disc.X-ray #2 shows his results after 3 months of corrective Chiropractic care in our office. As you can see his black line is now only ½ inch behind the normal red line. This correction eliminated his lower back pain and saved his L5 disc.I wonder how many other kids have this?
